Rosebank Cottage is ideally located along a peaceful road up the hill from the charming harbour of Boscastle in North Cornwall. Within 2 minutes, you can reach, by foot, a fantastic pub called The Napoleon which offers home-cooked food and live music, and a local shop selling all the essentials.
A further 10-15 minutes' walk down the hill (depending on how fit you are) and you will reach the enchanting harbour of Boscastle.
It is a very special place which sits in a natural amphitheatre of steep rugged cliffs and is home to a pretty fishing village, which houses quaint buildings, various shops, eateries, a bakery, two hotels and a brilliant old pub called The Cobweb Inn, serving home-cooked meals and local beers.
There are plenty of scenic walking routes to enjoy, from the peaceful Valency Valley to the coastal cliff-top hike from the harbour to Boscastle Farm Shop - all accessible on foot from the cottage should you want to leave your car on the drive.
A little further afield, there is MUCH to explore including Tintagel Castle, Port Isaac (where Doc Martin is filmed), Padstow, Rock and Polzeath beach. There are so many wonderful places in North Cornwall to roam, you'll want to return time and time again.
